Faculty of Medicine (MD – Curative Medicine)

The Faculty of Medicine at Aryana Institute of Higher Education was established in 2006 under the auspices of the historic Ariana Institute, located in the ancient city of Jalalabad, the heart of Nangarhar province.

Currently, the Faculty of Medicine is situated on the institute’s campus in the Makroyan area of Jalalabad city. Since its establishment, the faculty has developed into the Department of Curative Medicine, which manages academic and educational affairs through three main divisions: Basic Sciences, Pre-Clinic, and Clinical Departments.

A large number of students are currently benefiting from the academic and scientific resources of the faculty. The institution has also graduated a significant number of students who are now contributing to society. Both male and female students are part of these graduates.

The faculty includes a number of qualified professors, including permanent and visiting faculty members. It has also signed a cooperation agreement with Roshan Faculty of Medicine to promote academic collaboration between students and professors.

The curriculum follows a credit system, where one credit equals 50 minutes for theoretical classes and 100 minutes for practical sessions. Theoretical classes are conducted in well-equipped classrooms, while practical training takes place in laboratories and the teaching hospital.

Practical training includes subjects such as microbiology, biochemistry, anatomy, physiology, physics, chemistry, and biology. Clinical training is conducted in hospital departments including internal medicine, surgery, pediatrics, obstetrics, ENT, emergency, operation theatre, delivery room, ultrasound, laboratory, and pharmacy.

The faculty operates under various academic committees including the Scientific Council, Quality Assurance Committee, Research Committee, Exam Committee, and Cultural Committee. Its vision is to provide high-quality education, promote research, and deliver professional healthcare training.

Faculty of Engineering

The Faculty of Engineering at Aryana Institute of Higher Education was established to provide professional technical education and practical engineering skills to students.

It is located on the Makroyan campus of Jalalabad city. The faculty is committed to producing skilled engineers equipped with modern scientific knowledge and practical experience to serve national development needs.

The curriculum follows the credit-based system approved by the Ministry of Higher Education, combining theoretical learning with practical training.

The faculty focuses on preparing students in core engineering principles, design, construction, and applied sciences, ensuring graduates are ready for real-world challenges.

Faculty of Law and Political Science

The Faculty of Law and Political Science at Aryana Institute of Higher Education was established in 2006 in Jalalabad city with the goal of providing professional legal and political education at the bachelor’s level.

The faculty currently operates two departments:

Diplomacy

The academic system follows a four-year credit-based structure approved by the Ministry of Higher Education, consisting of eight semesters.

Graduation requires completion of all course exams, submission of a research thesis, and successful defense.

Since its establishment, the faculty has graduated a large number of students, including male and female graduates from both departments. It currently enrolls active students supported by qualified academic staff.

The faculty has established a legal clinic and an advisory court to provide practical training for students.

It also maintains academic cooperation agreements with other higher education institutions to strengthen scientific collaboration.

The faculty operates under several academic committees, including Quality Assurance, Research, Examination, and Discipline Committees.

Its vision is to deliver high-quality legal education, strengthen research capacity, and prepare students for national and international legal careers.

Faculty of Economics

The Faculty of Economics at Aryana Institute of Higher Education was established in 2006 in Jalalabad and operates from the Makroyan campus.

The faculty offers academic programs focused on national economy and economic development. The curriculum follows a four-year credit-based system approved by the Ministry of Higher Education.

The faculty currently enrolls students under the guidance of qualified professors with advanced academic backgrounds.

Since its establishment, the faculty has produced graduates who are serving in various economic and professional sectors. Both male and female students are included among graduates.

The faculty is managed through academic councils and committees responsible for quality assurance, research, examinations, discipline, and curriculum development.

Its mission is to provide quality education, promote economic research, and develop skilled professionals for national development.
